A team of scientists aboard the International Space. The makers' repeated warning that there is no twist of suspense is very much true. With Hiroyuki Sanada, Ryan Reynolds, Rebecca Ferguson, Jake Gyllenhaal. Jeethu Joseph has once again come up with a good cinema.
One to watch out for is Hareesh Peraady's performance as Josutty's father.
Performances by all the actors are brilliant. Anil Johnson's music is also apt for the story. Ravichandran's visuals are soulful be it the rustic farmer's life or the sleek New Zealand life. The script by Ratesh Varma, with Jayalal's story is very much realistic. But they are a welcome interlude in the narrative. The first half has a lot many instances which provide laughter. Though there is a lot of emotions running all over the place, and occasional overload of grief, the narration has been kept undramatic and simple.

The highs and lows of Josutty's life is what the movie is all about. Josutty's immigration to New Zealand with Rose and his transformation from a farmer to an NRI is all depicted well. And because of some family problems he is forced to marry a divorcee named Rose who is a nurse. Josutty now has a lot of problems and burdens to contend with on a daily basis. A few incidents happen which forrces Jesse away from Josutty. Prasanth Pillai composes the music and Abinandan Ramanujan is the cinematographer. The film stars an Prithviraj Sukumaran, Indrajith Sukumaran, Arya, Asif Ali, Sunny Wayne, Rachana Narayanankutty, Swathy Reddy and Isha Talwar. He taught Pi and his brother about the dangers of animals by feeding a tiger a live goat right in front of them. Double Barrel, also called Iratta Kuzhal is a 2015 Malayalam gangster spoof film written and directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. This is based on the 2001 book written by Yann Martel. Life of Pi is a 2012 released movie that was directed by Ang Lee. Josutty is a simple farmer who leads a contended life with his father Joseph and mother Shoshamma. 'Life of Josutty' traverses through myriad hues of human emotions. But Jeethu Joseph has beautifully made an ordinary life quite interesting. Taking such a life into focus and making a cinema on it may not be always entertaining. I rate it a solid 8/10.Ordinary lives can appear undramatic at the best of times. Definitely, this movie deserves a spot in top 10 Malayalam movie for the year 2015. The songs were nice, it synced with story and the sceneries. These locations and the way they were presented definitely played an important role in keeping up the vibe of the movie. The beauty around the hills and dams / lakes of Idukki and Auckland was nicely captured. The cinematography and choice of locations in this movie deserves a special mention. For Rose, it was about being with the guy she loved, for Priya it was about upholding the integrity of her family and hence conforming to her family members expectations of her. The story sheds some light on the truth that we humans are little bit selfish about our own priorities - which is not necessarily same for everyone. Even though, some acts can be seen as immoral / controversial, there is no one evil in any of the characters in the movie. Like Josutty's father advised to him, the story provokes viewers to take a second and see the situations from the other parties perspective. The writer did an excellent job in portraying every character in their own right. All of the actors did an excellent job with their given roles and overall, the flow of story in the movie feels natural and relate- able to real life stories in terms of how many women ( and men ) succumb to the pressure of society and upholding family values by giving up their dreams. This story of this movie has some truth to it which is beautifully portrayed around the life circumstances of the lead character Josutty. TL DR : Life of Josutty is a unique take on a cliché story that contributed to hundreds of similar Malayalam movies - but this one feels better and it goes beyond the boundaries.
